Love Students! Hate Hallam!
We love students! In fact! The more students we have filling up our pubs, clubs and bars, the better. This results in less violence and criminal damage because there are fewer low life around to frequent them. This certainly is one good reason and there are many others.
Ok, so students go around pissed up making lots of noise with street cones on their heads . It may worry a few people who've forgotten what good wholesome fun is, but we only need to look at the summer months when the students are away, how the low life seem to proliferate. So "Rage" and the CIQ loves students.
Whilst we are on the subject of low-life! Hallam University, who are possibly the most insensitive and arrogant organisation that anyone has had the misfortune to deal with, have again, created another situation that others are having to rectify. It seems not to dawn on this institution that they are creating tension between students in the N.C.P.M and some of the people of Sheffield. This has to be resolved!
Hallam's mentality of bulldozing any opposition, taking exactly what they want, consulting no one, without a care of the repercussions is constantly damaging so many businesses! However, Hallam seem to be surprised by any opposition to their wilful intimidation. The level of feeling is now so high that many would like to see Hallam removed from running an educational establishment. The people of both Sheffield and the U.K are going to be made aware just how this so called centre of education actually conducts business.
In dialogue with many Hallam students, it is a surprise to learn that quite a few voices of descent were raised, many disagree with Hallam's level of conduct and are aware of the lack of expansion and progression in the C.I.Q due to Hallam. Of course most students are over the moon with such an iconic building, so would I be, but for students to be put in a situation where the building they are occupying is disputed territory is the typical trail of mayhem that Hallam leaves behind.
